J Clin Oncol Bubley et al. 17:3461
Publisher’s Note
The November 1999 article by Bubley et al entitled, “Eligibility and Response Guidelines for Phase II Clinical Trials in Androgen-Independent Prostate Cancer: Recommendations From the Prostate-Specific Antigen Working Group” (J Clin Oncol 17:3461–3467, 1999) was published online November 1, 1999 with an error.
In the “Recommendations for Eligibility Criteria” section, the first sentence under “Testosterone levels/suppression” was given as:
“To standardize this population as much as possible, all patients without surgical castration should have a serum testosterone level less than 50 ng/mL.”
While it should have read:
“To standardize this population as much as possible, all patients without surgical
castration should have a serum testosterone level less than 50 ng/dL.”
This has been corrected as of February 16, 2007.
