The June 2000 article by Cagnoni et al, "Pharmacoeconomic Analysis of Liposomal Amphotericin B Versus Conventional Amphotericin B in the Empirical Treatment of Persistently Febrile Neutropenic Patients" (J Clin Oncol 18:2476-2483, 2000), contained an error. The results of the sensitivity analyses shown in Figures 3 and 4 were based on a cost for conventional therapy (Ampho B) at $16.60 per 50 mg (based on drug average wholesale price from published sources, as stated in the Methods section on page 2477), not $5.00 per 50 mg, as stated in the article and in the legends for Figures 3 and 4.
