Errata
The October 15, 2001 article by Klein et al entitled, "Neurobehavioral Status and Health-Related Quality of Life in Newly Diagnosed High-Grade Glioma Patients" (J Clin Oncol 19: 40374047, 2001) contained errors. While performing analyses on follow-up data of the patients, it was realized that the calculations of the percentages of patients with cognitive impairment were incorrect.
Instead of characterizing all glioma patients as cognitively impaired, the number should be 59%. The percentage of NSCLC patients with cognitive impairment was listed as 52%, while this number should be 48%. This error occurs throughout the text. Additionally, a sentence in first column in the third full paragraph of page 4039 mistakenly reads, "Application of this algorithm indicated that glioma patients were defined as cognitively impaired if they had at least two deficient test scores and NSCLC patients if they had at least one deficient score." The sentence should read, "Application of this algorithm indicated that both glioma patients and NSCLC patients were defined as cognitively impaired if they had at least four deficient test scores."
