The January 1, 2005, article by Worden et al, titled “Randomized Phase II Evaluation of 6 g/m2 of Ifosfamide Plus Doxorubicin and Granulocyte Colony-Stimulating Factor (G-CSF) Compared With 12 g/m2 of Ifosfamide Plus Doxorubicin and G-CSF in the Treatment of Poor-Prognosis Soft Tissue Sarcoma” (J Clin Oncol 23:105–112, 2005) was published online December 29, 2004, with an error.

In the Patients and Methods Section, the third sentence of the Treatment Plan Subsection was given as: “Hydration with 5% dextrose with 120 mEq/L of sodium acetate, 500 mg/L of magnesium sulfate, 40 mEq/L of potassium chloride, and 40 mEq/L of potassium acetate was initiated at 500 mL/h 1 hour before ifosfamide administration.”

While it should have read: “Hydration with 5% dextrose with 120 mEq/L of sodium acetate, 500 mg/L of magnesium sulfate, and 40 mEq/L of potassium acetate was initiated at 500 mL/h 1 hour before ifosfamide administration.”

This correction has been made as of August 9, 2006.
