In ReplyVanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, Nashville, TN We whole heartedly concur with the efforts of Hammond et al in investigating the processes required to open clinical trials at the Winship Cancer Institute (Atlanta, GA). It is in some ways comforting to note that the experiences at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (Nashville, TN) and its affiliates appear to be generalizable to other academic institutions.1 We look forward with interest to the results of using a clinical trials control tower approach to overcoming some of the barriers to the opening of clinical trials. AUTHORS' DISCLOSURES OF POTENTIAL CONFLICTS OF INTEREST The authors indicated no potential conflicts of interest. REFERENCE
