ERRATUM

The June 1, 2007, article by Birrer et al, entitled "Whole Genome Oligonucleotide-Based Array Comparative Genomic Hybridization Analysis Identified Fibroblast Growth Factor 1 As a Prognostic Marker for Advanced-Stage Serous Ovarian Adenocarcinomas" (J Clin Oncol 25:2281-2287, 2007), contained errors. The first author, Michael J. Birrer, and the second author, Michael E. Johnson, should have been acknowledged for equal contributions to this study. Figure 6 and Figure A1 (online only) were inadvertently switched and paired with the wrong figure legend. Corrected Figure 6 is reprinted below in its entirety. The online version has been corrected in departure from the print.

Fig 6. (A) Effect of exogenous fibroblast growth factor 1 (FGF-1) on human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) motility through a polyethylene (PET) membrane in a modified Boyden chamber. Cells that migrated through the pores of the membrane to the bottom chamber after 2.5 hours were stained with hematoxylin for 5 minutes at 37°C. (B) Effect of exogenous FGF-1 on HUVECs growth. Cell number was quantified via MTT assay. The data are the mean ± standard deviation (SD) for three independent experiments. (C) Effect of exogenous FGF-1 on HUVECs survival in 0.2% fetal calf serum (FCS) with control buffer or with purified FGF-1 protein at 10 ng/mL. The data are the mean ± SD for three independent experiments.
