ERRATUM
The May 20, 2007, article by Eckardt et al, entitled "Phase III Study of Oral Compared With Intravenous Topotecan As Second-Line Therapy in Small-Cell Lung Cancer" (J Clin Oncol 25:2086-2092, 2007), contained an error.
In the Results Section, under Toxicity, the second sentence of the fourth paragraph was given as:
"Diarrhea was one of the most commonly occurring events in the oral group; 35.9% of patients in the oral group experienced diarrhea (7.9% grade 3 or 4) compared with 19.9% of patients in the oral group (2.7% grade 3 or 4; Table 4)."
While it should have read:
"Diarrhea was one of the most commonly occurring events in the oral group; 35.9% of patients in the oral group experienced diarrhea (7.9% grade 3 or 4) compared with 19.9% of patients in the IV group (2.7% grade 3 or 4; Table 4)."
Table 4 is correct as published.
