ERRATA

The April 20, 2007, article by Malempati et al entitled, "Phase I Trial and Pharmacokinetic Study of Pemetrexed in Children With Refractory Solid Tumors: The Children's Oncology Group" (J Clin Oncol 25:1505-1511, 2007) contained errors.

In Table 2, under DLT, the toxicity for GGT was given as Grade 4, whereas it should have been Grade 3. Also, the toxicity for neutropenia was given as Grade 3, whereas it should have been Grade 4. Corrected Table 2 is reprinted below in its entirety.

Table 2. DLTs During the First Course of Each Dose Level

In the Results section, under Toxicity, the fourth sentence was given as:

"Two of four patients treated at 2,480 mg/m2 experienced DLT, with grade 3 neutropenia and rash occurring in one patient, and grade 3 neutropenia, rash, diarrhea, and rectal hemorrhage with grade 4 thrombocytopenia, elevated lipase, gamma-glutamyltransferase, hypophosphatemia, hypokalemia, and hyponatremia occurring in a second patient."

While it should have read:

"Two of four patients treated at 2,480 mg/m2 experienced DLT, with grade 4 neutropenia and grade 3 rash occurring in one patient, and grade 3 rash, diarrhea, rectal hemorrhage and gamma-glutamyltransferase with grade 4 neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, elevated lipase, hypophosphatemia, hypokalemia, and hyponatremia occurring in a second patient."

The online version has been corrected in departure from the print.
