ERRATUM

The June 1, 2007, article by Hussain et al entitled, "Trastuzumab, Paclitaxel, Carboplatin, and Gemcitabine in Advanced Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor-2/neu–Positive Urothelial Carcinoma: Results of a Multicenter Phase II National Cancer Institute Trial" (J Clin Oncol 25:2218-2224, 2007), contained errors.

In the Abstract, Results section, the third to last sentence indicated that there were two therapy-related deaths, whereas it should have been three therapy-related deaths.

In the Results section, under Patients Receiving Protocol Therapy, the last sentence of the second paragraph indicated that there were two patients (5%) who were removed from protocol due to death, whereas it should have been three patients (7%), as follows:

"Reasons for removal from protocol were as follows: 11 patients (25%) for progression, 10 patients (23%) for toxicities, physician decision in nine (20%), treatment completed in seven (16%), patient request in five (11%), and death in three patients (7%)."

In Table 6, the No. of "Any" adverse events was given as 2 (5%) for Grade 5, whereas it should have been 3 (7%). Also, the No. of "Other GI" events was given as 1 (2%) for Grade 4 and 0 for Grade 5, whereas it should have been 0 for Grade 4 and 1 (2%) for Grade 5.
