DOI: 10.1200/JCO.2009.23.2330 ERRATUMThe March 20, 2009, special article by Pintilie et al, entitled "Heterogeneity and Power in Clinical Biomarker Studies" (J Clin Oncol 27:1517–1521, 2009), contained errors.In the section "Heterogeneity Affects the Power of the Study," the fourth to last sentence cited reference no. 1, whereas it should have been formula 1, as follows: "When the variance within a patient is zero, the formula (1) is the same as formula (A5) (Appendix)." In the section "Example: Interstitial Fluid Pressure and Outcome," the first sentence of the third paragraph cited reference no. 11, whereas it should have been reference no. 14.
