The December 1, 2005, article by Hitt et al, entitled “Phase III Study Comparing Cisplatin Plus Fluorouracil to Paclitaxel, Cisplatin, and Fluorouracil Induction Chemotherapy Followed by Chemoradiotherapy in Locally Advanced Head and Neck Cancer” (J Clin Oncol 23:8636-8645, 2005) was published online November 7, 2005, with an error.
In the second sentence of the Abstract, in the Patients and Methods section, the dosage of FU (CF scheme) was given as “1 mg/m2 continuous infusion on days 1 through 5,” whereas it should have read “1,000 mg/m2 continuous infusion on days 1 through 5.”
This correction has been made as of January 17, 2006.
