The September 1, 2005, article by Davidson et al titled, “Chemoendocrine Therapy for Premenopausal Women With Axillary Lymph Node–Positive, Steroid Hormone Receptor–Positive Breast Cancer: Results From INT 0101 (E5188)” (J Clin Oncol 23:5973–5982, 2005) was published online on August 8, 2005, with incorrect information.
In the author affiliations section, the location of the Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine/Methodist Hospital was given as Austin, TX, whereas it should have read Houston, TX. Also, the location of the John Wayne Cancer Institute was omitted; it should have read Santa Monica, CA.
In the third-to-last paragraph of the Discussion, in the third-to-last sentence, beginning “This trial had relaxed entry criteria”, the percentage of patients with ER-positive tumors was given as 76%, whereas it should have read 63% had receptor-positive tumors.
In the last paragraph of the Discussion, the definition of the acronym TEXT was given as Tamoxifen Oral Exemestane Trial. It should have read Tamoxifen and Exemestane Trial.
