JCO’s Research To Be Free One Year After Publication
The Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO), the authoritative source for current information on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cancer, has announced that it will immediately begin providing free online access to original research articles older than one year at www.jco.org. Online readers will be able to access JCO research that is more than 12 months old without a subscription; this includes articles published from January 1999 to the present. (All ASCO Clinical Practice Guidelines and Special Articles, the "Art of Oncology" series, all editorials, and the correspondence section are free immediately upon publication.) The January through March 2003 articles will be released first, and the remainder back to 1999 will be opened over the next several weeks.
